Born to Algerian parents, Karim was adopted as a child by the Vionnets in Morgon. He has worked with the region’s greats—Lapierre, Breton, Foillard—as a vineyard- and cellar-hand, as well as assistant winemaker. He now farms small farms in Chiroubles, Chenas and Fleurie.

Beur Blanc’ is hand-harvested, dry-grown, old vine Chardonnay, at once fresh and generous, with a long mineral finish.
